9.      ADOPTION – O-1 -11 AMENDING THE PARKING REQUIREMENTS
Decision Required: Whether to adopt.

This Ordinance codifies the promulgation of regulations regarding the type and method of covering commercial vehicles in order to comply with the Town Code.

10.     INTRODUCTION – O-2-11 AMENDING THE ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUIREMENTS
Decision Required: Whether to move to second reading.

This item has been added to the agenda as a result of Workession discussions regarding the Town of Cheverly’s absentee ballot requirements.  Currently, the Town’s absentee ballot requirements are more restrictive than the State and County requirements.  This legislation will allow residents to, in effect, vote early without having to meet the previously restrictive requirements.

11.     RESOLUTION R-1-11 APPOINTING AN ELECTION SUPERVISOR
Decision Required: Whether to appoint.

The Mayor is charged with appointing the Election Supervisors.  They serve on a rotating term for 2 years.  This year the Mayor must appoint one of the three supervisor positions.

12.     RESOLUTION R-2-11 APPOINTING A ELECTION JUDGES
Decision Required: Whether to appoint.

The Councilmembers are charged with appointing the Election Judge to represent their Ward on the day of the election.  They serve for a one year term.  They do not have to live in the Ward that they represent.

13.     RESOLUTION R-3-11 APPOINTING  ELECTION CLERKS
Decision Required: Whether to appoint.

The Mayor and Council are charged with appointing the Election Clerks.  The Clerks are members of the Town Staff that serve to help facilitate the election.
