Yard Waste: There appears to be a misunderstanding regarding yard waste collections on Monday’s.
PLEASE NOTE: Public Works WILL NOT pick up cut or uncut logs, cut or uncut firewood, tree trunks, stumps, dirt, rocks, railroad ties, landscape patio bricks and/or other cemented surfaces.
Yard Waste Collection on Mondays is for bagged grass & leaves, yard clippings, tied and bundled small limbs (no more than 4 ft. in length or 4” in diameter). Loose branches can be placed in containers and not exceed 50 pounds.
Clear plastic bags should be used so that the crews can SEE that there is no trash or inappropriate materials in them.
Back/Side Yard Refuse Collection:
This service is available to residents that are handicapped, senior citizens without assistance, and others that have needed this for personal reasons. This service is not available for yard waste, recycling, and/or bulky trash pickups. These collections must be placed at the curb.

The list from which we have been working is outdated, and several of you have been missed on one or more occasions.
