The Mayor and Town Council have authorized the purchase of 32 gallon recycling bins in an attempt to address the banning of all plastic bags in the recycling operation.
These bins will be made available to residents at a discounted cost of $20. The bins have wheels and a lid.
If you are interested in reserving one of these bins, please contact the Department of Public Works at 301-773-2666.
This pilot program will consist of a limited amount of bins, but if we find there is a desire by the community to utilize these bins a second order will be considered.
